Alfa 156

Welcome to my Alfa 156 Web side!

One night I was just surfing in the net looking for 156. There was a few suitable objects for sale, nearest located in east of Helsinki. Next day I had properly day off, so I went to check out what kind of case it was. Well, there was one dent here and one dent there, but the first impression was not bad, and we made a deal. Feeling satisfied I left driving back to home and when I get to motorway, of course I had to take a little taste of performance. I had a fifth gear in the box (biggest I thought) and the speed was real "criminal", it still accelerate so fast when I put pedal to the metal. Swell...

Afterwards when I came home, I wondered that it wasted pretty lot of gasoline, almost half a tank, that distance from Helsinki to Lahti (about 100km). Well later I read from the net, that I have six gear in my car.

It happens...

(Sh)it happens...

In February 2005 that 156 marks his (Yes that car is male, I think) place, on our car parking area. The gear rack leaked off some liquid. Well I have repaired that. €€€

After that gear rack changing. He marks his place again. Now the clutch's working cylinder leaked off it's liquids. Well I have repaired that. €€€

After that working cylinder change, there be heard a terribly noise under the hood, when I turn the wheel (Air in the power steering pump, I thought). Then review under car and I noticed, that one gear rack's pipe still exudes some liquid. Well I went it back to the brand service for repaired that. €€€. Even though they give me extra rebate from they working hours, because of they blunder.

Well in spite of those little troubles, my heart still beats with Alfa.

After long winter, it come time to get out of the snow tires. Unfortunately I got only one rim set (that original rims, above) with that car deal. So I must look an other rims for summertime season use. Well I surfing that linked alfabbs.fi/for sale, and there they was. I found that suitable (bolt dial 5x98) ATP's Flash Sport 8x17 BS rims, with even relatively good tires. That wheels located in Turku (southwest Finland). After short phone negotiations we agreed the price and let's make the bargains. To my delight the seller be committed to meet me in half-way, from Turku to Lahti. And one nice springly Sunday I drive in Forssa and we made a deal.

(Sh)it happens part 2...

Finally when we get hot summer in Finland. Of course, the air conditioning system of my Alfa were gone broken. Some pressure pipe of the air conditioning had oxidized to burst and for that reason the cooling system did not function. Well I had to change this pipe. €€€

Rest of this summer I just be enjoyed from driving, in other words, all has functioned as very good.
