Some kind of happy shock to me.

Surprisingly all my life changed. Satu informed that we would get baby, and this hasn't been fairy tale.

I am 40+ years old so called sworn bachelor, and recently I have often considered that may I have ever to be made the heir to this world, and even accustomed also to the thoughts, although even I am not tried earlier get baby. On other hand it has felt as something lack from my life, especially as by most of my friends and relatives have already own family and children.

However in this situation on the this moment I am, and feels that also on myself would be started new life. This is extremely from the interest, exciting and perhaps also little the fearsome time. And if all progresses fine just as I hope and begging, I permission for your pleasure that I don't full this side on the pictures from before, from the side, from under and behind of the child. Well but next we can only to wait.

Meanwhile I noticed few deficiencies in our conditions, thinking about future bearing baby.

• Firstly I think that, my Alfa be unsuitable to transport the prams.

• Second I think that, Satu's Peugeot be unsuitable to transport the prams.

• Third I think that, our apartment is unsuitable (small) to save the prams.

One day when I came from work was the strange book appeared to our table. By the name "Waiting of the baby to the father". Small moment I hesitate to open its. Then I encouraged my mind and very carefully opened it. There was told about pregnancy progressing from week to week and from the changes of woman body and mind during pregnancy, in addition to there was some words to the male to understand better this matter. All in all that book was really good. 

Even just we came in first ultrasonic examination. Despite from my promise (now finished my patience), there is couple pictures with current strategic measurements from the coming baby.

Well then, now we have bought the larger apartment (€€€€€€), it would be good to get previous apartment sold. It's wasted to pay maintenance charges from the two apartments. Somehow, already at this stage (Just 12 weeks) I start for feel, that the act of the baby begins to be pretty expensive, as compared for example to the car hobbies. 

Well I must still try to running good relationships with my banker. 

Right now I have made about 3 weeks renovation in our new apartment, as the evening and night work. We have removed wallpaper, spread smoothing material and put new paint to the walls, and there is much to do yet. Waiting for the baby has been really hard (Just 14 weeks).

Now then after very sweaty afternoon, we have made the move to the larger apartment. We would not have clarified that without the help of Izmo, Pekka and Pete. Once more, thanks a lot to them all. Tomorrow morning would be very nice to find toothbrush and razor some from the move boxes... (On this moment we go week 17).

On one day Satu informed that she has selected. Department of obstetrics of Tammisaari Hospital, for our baby birthplace. 180 km are long journey goes to bear child I think. So I looked little wondering at Satu and I asked why go so afar. For the answer I got, "That it is one from the best childbirth hospitals of the Finnish". Well probably she knows from where speaks, also herself in care trade as working. So there we will go.

Tammisaari, with to our another formal language (in Swedish), Ekenas. Why not, Little Eke (name of male) - been born in the Ekenas. It would it be brought omen from boy... certainly also baby girl is welcome. (On this moment we go something as week 20).

Few days ago I got my previous apartment sold, a short moment I had quite "rich" state of affairs, until I paid part from my loan from our current apartment.

I heard that we have unique benefit to parturient families in Finland, besides quite free. It's called maternity packing. Then to take clear what everything this free gift from our society includes. Look at this, where to the wondrous that everything stuff is needed. (On this moment we go week 23. Considerable active pal to rage).

Hmm... Has my hormone balance also changed? Or why I nowadays thought, that is duration nappy more ecological / economic to use like as disposable nappy. Stop laughter all you tough guy.

This week we did some purchases for our coming baby. Now we have one four wheel more in our family. Emmaljunga's combination carriages of the children and in addition to we got some children clothing from our relations. (On this moment we go week 26).

The time feels to be passing truly quickly and same speed grows the stomach of Satu. It is miraculous how the skin of the stomach stretches to be growing in with of the baby, for the time being we have resolved without pregnancy scars. Another ultrasonic examination is also made and still we not wanted to know that it is coming girl or boy baby, but everything's in order. To us has appeared also truly much baby article adds, here is mittens, socks, trousers, baby bed and one truly odd thing to me. Really long time I thought which purpose on this puzzle has, long consideration as the result I decide to name it some kind of milking machine. (On this moment we go week 30).

Now we have all baby articles as the bought. In addition to we have visited in Tammisaari and met childbirth doctor. With the same time we got acquainted with to the conditions of the small and idyllic hospital. If things progress with plan. Next time when we will go to Tammisaari, we will return from there with healthy baby. (On this moment we go something as week 34).

Still, we should have patience to wait about one long month...

Already now, we have received many good care instructions and education advices of the baby from my friend. Maybe one of the bests is this "baby manual" (only in Finnish), thanks from that link for one of my engineer friend. This Christmas we got from Santa Claus this nice cartoon book. Hmm...

Earlier during the pregnancy the time felt to passing very quickly, now when our waiting is almost finish, about week left, feel remaining days really long. All besides this, moved our estimated childbirth time week forward. All in all it's huge stomach, what Satu now days carries. (On this moment we go something as week 38).

Finally. Right now we have arrived to Department of obstetrics of Tammisaari. They have taken some blood- and some other tests of Satu, also baby pulse has been measured by KGT. Now we have only few hours as waiting... Now start to stress, names are already considered both to the baby girl and baby boy. Exciting which one will be born, that we will know tomorrow... (On this moment we go something as week 39+).

Okay. After the sleepless night. Here are strategic measurements and some other properties:

• 10 Apgar points

• 3570 g weight

• 50 cm length

• No wrinkles

• Skin colored (white-skinned ), no red, yellow or pale.

• Make poop

• Feels comfortable in pink socks

• Almost silent, (for the time being)

• On this moment, about 4 hours old

It was excellent selection from Satu, to select Tammisaari for our child birthplace. I am extremely contented to the staff of the childbirth department. There was felt like they would have been in the work for only to serve us, they all are really professionals.

I want to present really great thanks to whole staff who participated project of our baby childbirth. As well at least two of them was truly excellent singers. Which we can prove.

Ok. Now after the couple less sleepy month, we have found some kind of rhythm's with our baby. As the matter of fact baby has slept all the time as very well, but we parents sleep with varying success. In this couple month during, also our baby has got the name in the christening party which had spent in the church. And that name is...
