Helena Myyryläinen's first basenji, red and white male Visakoivun Joonas "Joonas" ( b.27.12.75 ) came to her home year 1976 and next year he got new company: red and white male Visakoivun Kasper "Kasper".

Kasper has been father of Helena's first co-owned bitch; Silentium Ehure Na Iru "Kia" ( b.24.12.82 ) and Silentium Faida "Faida" ( b.11.1.84 ). The first puppies in kennel Furahan borned in year 1985.

When thinking more puppies to kennel Furahan Helena needs something new lines and year 1988 she brought red and white bitch,  Azenda Dreamtime "Zenda" ( b.26.8.88 ) from England and in next year she brought from the same kennel red and white male, Azenda Nugget "Repe" ( b.25.12.88 ). These both basenjis Helena brought with Anneli Pukkila (kennel Sternhimmels).

In year 1993 kennel Furahan got the Vuolasvirta award number 252 from breeding of basenjis.

In year 1995 Päivi Salomäki bought from kennel Furahan her first basenji; tricolour bitch Furahan Sabalheri "Saba" ( b.6.12.95).This was begin to co-operation with Helena and Päivi.They bring together black and white male Jangua B' Toki "Toki" (b.20.11.95) from Austria and red and white bitch Pukkanut Dawn Chorus "Dana" (b.5.6.98) from Australia. Very special basenji has been black and white bitch Furahan Swala "Swala" (b.6.12.95). Swala came to Päivi's house on 1,5year old and she was co-owned with Helena and Päivi. Swala and Toki have been basis dogs to black and white basenjis in kennel Furahan. During these years Helena and Päivi thinking make their co-operation official and year 2002 Finnish Kennel Club accept Päivi official breeder with Helena to kennel Furahan.
