11st Nowember: We present our new member to kennel Furahan: black/white male Taqsim Signet NimBin, breeders Brenda J Cassell (Signet) & Bev Reid (Taqsim). NimBin lives with Elina Salomäki in USA, Elina visits with him next summer in  Finland ( We hope ,that NimBin could be in our basenjispeciality next summer) and in future they maybe lives somewhere in Europe.

2nd October International show in Oulu judged by Mr Kari Järvinen: Wonderful success to our black/white basenjis: Torsti was BOB with CACIB. Arvi was 3rd in champion class and became 3rd best male. Sabi won in open class, and he became 4th best male with his first CC! In champion class Illi was 4th with excellent. And Ranni did it again: she got her second CC and became 2nd best bitch. Our breedergroup, all dogs were black/white was BIG-3!!

27th September: We have sad news; On last Wednesday Helena's beloved Pele die as a result of accident. We all miss you, Pele.

16th September: New pages to Immo and Tuisku!

12nd September Finnish Sighthound Association's Specialty in Tampere judged by Mr Herman Bürk (Germany): Super great show to Eno, he was BIS1- puppy !!  Well done Laura and Eno, congratulations!! Eno´s brother Uni not placed. In champion class Sonny won and became 2nd best male. In open class Maija was 2nd with excellent, and finally she became 3rd best bitch with resCC.

12nd September groupshow in Tampere judged by Mr Mario Knoll ( Brasil): Super great show to Edi, he was BOB and BIR 2!! Very much congratulations to Kirsi and Edi! In champion class Alma was 1st again and finally she became 4th best bitch. In open class Maija was 2nd with very good.

11st September in Porvoo judged by Mrs Gunnel Holm: Tuisku was 4th best malepuppy. Winnie was her first show and she became 3rd best bitchpuppy. Torsti was 2nd in champion class and became 2nd best male. In young class Piku was 2nd and became 2nd best bitch with resCC.

5th September in Helsinki judged by Mrs Rita Van Mechelen (Belgium): In puppyclass three of Kito boys was in show, but unfortunately they not placed. Teema was 4th. Sonny won his class and became 2nd best male. Ranni was the first time in young class, and she got great success; Ranni got her first CC and became 2nd best bitch. In champion class Alma was 1st.

2nd September: Look page of new puppies! Add a new photo of Piku, Immo and Winnie.

29th August in Heinola judged by Mr Látzló Erdös (Hungary): Great day again to kennel Furahan; Piku was BOS with CC! In  puppy class Immo was first time in show and he became 3rd with HP. Hilla was 2nd with HP. Torsti was 3rd best male. Alma won her class and in veteran class Swala won, she became BIR-veteran,too. Our breeder group was 1st with HP.

28th August in Kouvola judged by Mrs Leni Nousianen: In veteran class Shindi was 2nd and became 4th best bitch.

21st August in Tervakoski judged by Mrs Agneta Kappers (Sweden): In puppy class Tuisku and Hilla was both second with HP. Torsti did it again; he won championclass and was finally BOS. In championclass Alma was 1st and in young class Piku was 2nd with excellent. Alma became 2nd and Piku 4th best bitch. Great day again!

15th August in Raisio judged by Mrs Eli-Marie Klepp (Norway): It was great day to Teema again; now she was BOS-puppy!

7th August in Ikaalinen group show judged by Mr Antti Aarnio: Great day to Teema and Anna: This was Teema´s first official show in puppy class and she was BOB- puppy! Congratulations! Maija got very good in open class.

7th August in Kuopio show judged by Mrs Agnes Kanami ( Israel): only one Furahan basenjis, Alisa, she got excellent and became 3rd best bitch.

2nd August: New photos of Arvi, Illi, Torsti, Tuisku and Ranni. Lovely photos of Swala and Tuisku.

31st July in Pori INT show judged by Mrs Margaret Long (Australia): In puppy class Ranni was second.  Sonny and Edi got very good in champion class. Alma got excellent and she bacame 3rd best bitch.

25th July in Helsinki show judged by Mr Ben Nolan (USA): Again great day to our kennel and expecially to our black/white basenjis: Torsti was BOB and Alma was BOS! Finally Torsti was BIG-1, this was the first time when black/white basenji was BIG-1 in Finland. In open class Funo got very good. Sonny got excellent and was 3rd in champion class . In veteran class Swala got very good. 

10th July: In Mikkeli show judged by Mrs Gunnel Holm (males) and Mrs Annamaria Tarjan ,Hungary ( bitches): Very good day to kennel Furahan; Torsti was BOB and  BIG 3!! He also got his last CC and became FIN CH. Thank you Tiina for showing Torsti while I was showing Luna who got very good. Piku won young class and gained her first CC and finally became BOS!! In champion  class Alisa got excellent. In veteran class Sindi won and became 3rd best bitch and she was BOS -veteran. Swala was second in veteran class with excellent. Finally our breeder group got HP. Congratulation to all Furahan dogs and their owners!

25th June: In Jällivaara INT show judged by Mrs Tina Permo (Sweden): Arvi did it again, he gained  CACIB  again and he is now S CH,too. Well done, Satu and Arvi!

19th June: In Rovaniemi INT show judged by Mrs Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen: It was Arvi´s day; he was BOB with his first CACIB. Congratulations to Satu and Arvi! Alma was 3rd best bitch.

13rd June: Super, super day in Tampere World Winner Race Competition!! Fula and Heta are now World Winner! Very much congratulations to Laura, Mikko and Hilkka.  And congratulation to one good runner more; Maija was 4th! Well done!!!

30th May: In our basenji speciality in Tuusula judged by Mr Kari Järvinen: Very good succeed to our dogs: Ranni was BIS puppy!!! Torsti was 2nd best male with res-CC!! 29th May: In Tallinna INT show judged by Mrs Marja Talvitie: Great day to Alma and Kirsi; Alma was BOB with Cacib and her new title are EstW-04 and Est CH !Congratulations!!

23rd May: In Joensuu show judged by Mr Petru Muntean (Romania): Alisa's day; she was BOB and finished her Finnish Champion title!!!! Congratulatios to Seija and Pirkko!

22nd May: In Helsinki INT show judged by Mrs Säde Hohteri:
Torsti was 3rd in open class and his brother Funo was 4th. Piku was 3rd with very good in young class and in champion class Alma got excellent.

20th May: Great day to our racing dogs: Fula and Heta finished their Racing Champion -titles. Congratulations!!! Fula in now the first basenji in Finland who is FIN CH. FIN LC-CH and FIN RC-CH. And we don't forget very many other title to Heta and Fula!

16th May: In Janakkala group show judged by Mrs Saija Juutilainen: Alma was BOB and her sister Maija was 3rd in open class with very good. Fine day to Kirsi and Alma!

25th April: In Lahti INT show judged by Mrs Myrna Shiboleth (Israel):The best male class Torsti was 3rd with re-CC and his father Ali was 4th. Well done son and father! Piku was 3rd in young class, Maija was 3rd in open class, Alma was 3rd in champion class and our old lady Swala was best bitch in veteran class with very good. Our pedigree group was second. Luna was the best bitch class 2nd with CC and re-Cacib!

16th April: Marjukka ( from Ajibu kennel) returned from Arizona with two full-african basenji puppies from the Brushy Run kennel. These puppies: Nelson and Winnie are co-owned by Ajibu, Furahan and Heriaheri kennels. They will be a wonderful addition to our breeding programs. Nelson lives with Helena and Winnie with Päivi. 3rd April: In Ylitornio group show judged by Mrs Paula Rekiranta: It was Arvi's day: He was BOB!

31st March: In Tampere international Show judged by Mrs Elina Tan-Hietalahti: great day to Sonny and his son Ali. Ali was 2nd best male with re- Cacib and Sonny was 3rd. Swala's sister Safina was the first time in veteran class, and she was BOB!

30th March: Some new pictures about puppies  and Kito-puppies page are ready.

29th February::  Furahan Alida Arifu, Torsti was TOP the basenji dog in Finland 2003!! Very special congratulation to Henkka, Torsti's owner, You have very lovely and beatiful basenji.

24th January: In Turku international Show judged by Mrs Phyllis Poduschka-Aigner(Austria): Great day to Sonny, Sonny was BOB with Cacib. Gongratulations!!! In junior class Tsamppa got good, and in open class Torsti got good. Laku got excellent in champion class.Maija was second in open class with excellent ond our 'mamma' Swala was BOS in veteran class, That was Swala´s first time in veteran class.

Year 2003

28th September: In Eckerö international Show judged by Mr Boo Lundström (Sweden): That was good day to Kennel Furahan. Laku was BOB with Cacib Alma was BOS and got also Cacib.

14th September: In Äetsä Group Show judged by Mr Freddie Klindrup (Denmark): In Champion class Edi and Alma both  won with excellent. In Open class Maija was third with Very Good

30th August: In Vantaa judged by Mr Paavo Mattila: Peke was again second with HP in puppy class. Piku was also second with HP. In young class Funo was second with excellent. Alisa won with excellent and got res CC. Torsti was second in open class with excellent and got res CC. Toka got Good. 

24th August: In Heinola judged by Mr Joyce O'Connor (Ireland), puppies judged by Mrs Soile Bister (Finland): Peke was second with HP in puppy class and Piku was also second with HP. Torsti won open class with excellent and got res CC. Alisa was 3rd in young class with very good. 

23th August: In Kouvola judged by Mrs Raisa Savander (Finland): Sindi was BOB in veteran class. 

16th -17th August: In Joensuu judged by Mr Iuza Beradze (Georgia): This was great day to Alisa. She was BOB and got on CC more. Congratulation to Seija and Alisa

16th August: In Aura judged by Mrs Rita van Mechelen (Belgia): This was Alma's day! She won in open class and got her last CC, now she is Finnish Champion. Maija was 3rd with very good. Congratulation to Kirsi and Alma.

10th August: In Kuopio judged by Mrs Saija Juutilainen (Finland): Nata was first in young class with very good. Alisa was second in open class, she got res CC

9th August: In Hämeenlinna judged by Mrs Marija Kavcic (Slovenia): Alma won again in open class and she got res CC. Maija was 3rd with excellent in the same class.

2nd August: In Tornio International Show judged by Mr Owe Germundsson (Sweden): In champion class Ali was second with res Cacib and Arvi was third with excellent. In veteran class Ibenga was second with very good.

27th July: In Mikkeli International Show judged by Mr David Wong (Australia): Piku was BOB puppy. In open class Sabi was second and Torsti was third. They both got excellent. In champion class Ali was second with excellent. Our black/white girls; Alisa and Alma won their classes and Alisa got CC. Our pedigree group ( all dogs were black/white) was second with HP. Luna was BOB puppy.

13th July: In Hyvinkää judged by Mrs Anita Wistmarsh (Sweden): Our puppies were first time in puppy class. Piku won and she was BOB puppy. Peke was second. Torsti won open class with excellent and got res CC. Our bracco puppy Luna was first time in puppy class and she was BOB puppy.

5th July: In Tuusula judged by Mrs Leila Kärkäs: Funo got his first CC and he was BOS.

29th June: In Jällivaara judged by Mr Ove Germundsson (Sweden): Sonny was BOB and got his last CACIB. Sonny is now International Champion, brilliant!

29th June: In Pieksämäki judged by Mrs Mona K. Selbach (Norway): That was Alisa's day. She was BOB with CC.

28th June: In Ulvila judged by Mrs Sharon Francis (Canada): Maija won open class and got CC. Now she has two CC's. Alma was second in same class and got excellent with res CC.

7th June: Finnish Basenji Speciality in Tuusula judged by Mr Robert Cole (Canada) and Mrs Leila Kärkäs (puppies): We have all our puppies on shows and none of them didn't placed. In champion class Ali and Sonny got excellent. Funo got excellent in young class and in open class Torsti was second with excellent and CC. Fula was best in work class with excellent and he was the best black and white basenji in show. Also Edi, Alisa, Maija, Ronja, Alma and Dana got excellent. Safina got very good. Dana's progeny group was second with HP.    

7th June: In Mänttä judged by Mr Esko Nummijärvi: Sabi and Nata got very good

25th May: In Joensuu judged by Mr Nils Molin (Sweden): Nata was in junior class and she got very good.

24th May: In Helsinki judged by Mr Peter Siegfried (Germany): Funo was the first time in show and got excellent and was 4th in young class. Alma was also 4th in open class with excellent. Maija got very good and Nina got good.

18th May: In Leppävirta judged by Mr Norman Deschuymere (Belgium): That was very good day to Ali and his daughter Alisa! Ali won champion class and was BOB. Alisa won young class with CC and she was BOS. Nata was second in young class with excellent.

17th May: In Hamina judged by Mr Hans Almgren (Sweden): Alma was second in open class and got very good.

10th May: Groupshow in Kullaa judged by Mrs Janiki Steinbock (Israel): Maija was second in young class and got excellent with res CC.

3rd May: Groupshow in Pöytyä judged by Mr Anders Cederström (Sweden): Maija got very good

26th April: In Lahti International Show judged by Mr Allan Pepper (Canada): It was Furahan's and Torsti's day. Torsti was BOB! He got also CC and CACIB. His second show on this year and second CACIB, congratulation to Henkka and Torsti. In open class Sabi was 2nd with excellent. In champion class Sonny ( Torsti's grandfather) was 2nd and Ali was 4th with excellent. Laku got very good. Alisa and Nina got excellent and Alisa was 4th in young class. Nata got good. And finally our black/white pedigree group was 1st with HP.

13rd April Groupshow in Kokemäki judged by Eivind Mjaerum (Norway):Alma was second in young class with excellent.

29th March: In Kemijärvi judged by Mrs Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen: This was great day to Arvi. He won young class with CC and was BOB.

15th March: In Tampere International show judged by Mr Jean-Louis Grünheid (France): In young class Torsti was 1st with excellent, res CC and won his first CACIB. In champion class Ali, Torsti's father was 1st with excellent and res CACIB, Sonny was 4th with excellent and Laku got excellent. Torsti's sister Alisa was 2nd with excellent in junior class. Alma got excellent and she was 4th in young class. Heta got excellent. Furahan breeder group (all dogs were black/white) was 3rd with HP.

1st March: In Juva judged by Mr Antti Aarnio: Sabi won young class with excellent and Nata got very good.

15th February: In Imatra International Show judged by Mr Zafra Sirik (Israel): Alma won young class with excellent, res CC and res Cacib.

26th January: In Turku International Show judged by Mr Marion Spavin (Great Britain): Edi got very good. Alma and Maija were in young class, they both got excellent, Alma was 1st and Maija 2nd.

4th January: In Kajaani judged Mrs Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen: Ali was BOS and got his last CC. Now we can call him FIN CH! Nata got good.
