Install Currency Converter using either PC Suite or sending installation file to your phone via Infrared, Bluetooth or e-mail. After successful installation an icon appears to the Menu grid and you can launch Currency Converter from that icon. In case you want to de-install Currency Converter, open Tools folder from Menu and select Manager. Find CurrConv from the list and select Remove.
Enter the amount of money you want to convert in any of the three fields and press joystick. You can also select Convert from the Options menu. Converted value is shown in the other fields and the value you entered is selected and highlighted. You can enter new value immediatly.
You can change the currency of first and second field. Third field is always Euro. Change the currency from Options / Currencies submenu where you can see 1st field and 2nd field. After that select currency from the list. New converted values are automatically calculated in other fields.
You can copy the result to clipboard normally by selecting the value in a field (press ABC-key and simultaneously push joystick left or right and then select Copy), or you can use Options / Copy result from.
Select Options / Currencies / New. A new curreny is created and you can enter rate, currency abbreviation and name for it. Enter the rate as "1 EUR = x curr" ratio. Remember to use official abbreviations because updating rates from internet is based only on abbreviations (see Updating rates).
Select Options / Currencies / Delete. A list of currencies is shown. Select currency you want to delete and press OK. A confirmation dialog is shown. If you select Yes, selected currency is deleted and after that you are back in the currencies list where you can delete another currency. Close that list by selecting Back. Note that you cannot delete a fixed currency.
Select Options / Rates / Change manually. A list of currencies is shown. Select currency you want to change and press Select. Same page is shown when adding new currency and you can change rate, currency abbreviation and name. Note that you cannot change rate and abbreviation of any of the fixed rates (i.e. the old currencies of the euro-zone).
First you have to define a default access point by selecting Options / Settings. You must use an Internet access point, not a WAP access point. Usually Internet access points have 0.0.0.0 as WAP gateway in the Connection settings, but there may be other settings as well. Ask help from your operator if you are not certain what settings to use.
After setting default access point for Currency Converter, select Options / Rates / Update from net. Program starts to create a connection to Bank of Finland exchange rates web page where it obtains latest rates. If everything goes OK, a note "Update successful" is shown.
Rates of following currencies are published in the Bank of Finland exchange rates web page:

When you use above mentioned abbreviations when adding new currency, rates of them are updated using this function. If you use wrong abbreviation or add a currency not listed above, you can change rate of it only manually.
