The plane was on the
bombingmission in Lappland war. They were bombing german retreating troops
near Sirkka village.
German 2 cm flak noticed the
plane and started to shoot the plane. The plane got hits and portside engine
stopped and the starboard
side engine had some trouble
too. Pilot ordered to drop bombs immediately and prepared to make forcelanding.
Pilot made a pancake landing on the swamp. All members of the crew survived
the crashlanding. Pilot sergeant Reino Suhonen,

Henrik Dahlström, Radio-operator/gunner Corporal Olavi Elo
All survived to own side.
Lapin
sodassa koneen pommittaessa perääntyvää saksalaiskolonnaa Sirkan kylän
lähistöllä,
kone sai osumia
koneeseen saksalaisten ilmatorjunnasta. Toinen moottori sammui ja toinenkin
moottori'
kävi epätasaisesti.
Alkoi tulla lisää ilmatorjuntaa, jolloin ohjaaja painoi koneen syöksyyn
sammuttaen moottorit.
Kone teki
pakkolaskun suolle.
Miehistö selvisi pakkolaskusta loukkaantumatta, selviten myös omalle puolelle
linjoja.
