ILJUSHIN IL-2 "Stormovik" Santenjunni, Sør Varanger, Norway

 16th September 1944

Formation of five  "Stormoviks" was noticed at altitude 1600 meters.  German 1./gem Flakabteilung 352 started AA-fire against planes. Also some other anti aircraftfire was involved of firing. Anti-aircraft fire was very accurate and hostile soviets drop their bombload random causing no damage. One of the plane got hits and started to burn and crashed vertically to the ground.

Viiden Stormovikin muodostelma havaittiin Kirkkoniemen alueella 1600 metrin korkeudella. Saksalaiset avasivat It-tulen, joka olikin heti tarkkaa ja yksi kone sai heti osumia syttyen palamaan ja syöksyi pystysuoraan maahan.
