Welcome to our home!
We live in southern Finland in a small place called
Kärkölä halfway from
Lahti to Riihimäki in the middle of beautiful
countryside. To our
family belongs two adults and one very lively little boy. Nowadays we
have two saluki boys, one saluki girl, one whippet boy and one whippet girl.
We have had Salukis and Whippets allready almost 20 years and living
together with them has become our way of life. We are mostly oriented
on lure coursing and racing but sometimes we might even visit also in
shows.
In the early years we were quite active in different sighthound
associations. We have been there also quite a long time as judges in
lure coursing and racing.
Today we are more concentrating on participating lure coursing and
racing rather than arranging the events but maybe sometimes you might
see us waving a flag still...

23.10.2011. Aino is getting up speed. Today she ran in unofficial season's closing race at Hyvinkää 480 m in 33"58.
22.10.2011. Aino
started great her lure coursing career. She was second out of 37
contestants in unoffial lure coursing competition at Hyvinkää.
11.09.2011. Ilmari won a second place in Latvian lure coursing championships at Riga, Latvia.
10.09.2011. Ilmari got EXC-1 and was best male 3 in sighthound specialty show at Riga, Latvia.
20.08.2011. Ilmari
has started living his youth again and run very well in Mustiala
International Coursing being 6th and the best veteran of the day.
13.08.2011. Lyyti
continued her great runs and won Finnish Sighthound Association
Championships 2011 and her second official tittle: SVKLRM-2011. She ran
3 incredible 350m starts: 22"46, 22"53 and 22"53. The fastest runs ever
in Finland by whippet female! What a first season for our youngster: 9
starts 9 wins, 2 track records, 2 titles and fastest female ever in
Finland for 350m!
06.08.2011. Lyyti won a graded 280m start at Tampere with a new track record 18"09 !
30.07.2011. Lyyti won both of her graded starts at Hyvinkää racetrack: 280m in 18"14 and 350m in 23"16
17.07.2011. Ilmari
made his best runs for years in European Lure Coursing Championships
2011 in Oirschot, Holland. Unfortunately judges did not appreciate
that to the same level than everyone else who saw the runs.
08.07.2011. Aino and Ilmari participated World Dog Show 2011 in Paris, France. Aino got EXC and Ilmari EXC-4.
07.07.2011. Aino and Ilmari participated French Championships 2011 show in Paris, France. Aino got EXC and Ilmari EXC.
02.07.2011. Aino and Ilmari participated national dog show in Hamburg, Germany. Aino got EXC-3 and Ilmari EXC-1.
19.06.2011. Even
if Lyyti's speed on grasstrack was not the best possible she won the
title TS-11 TähtiSprintteri/ StarSprinter 2011 with a new track record
17:93s for 280m in Tuomarinkartano, Helsinki.
08.06.2011. Lyyti won her first race in Tuomarinkartano, Helsinki with a very good time 18:01s for 280m.
12.03.2011. Ilmari seems to found the touch again and run great in Winter Coursing 2011, Mustiala being 3rd.
