About usI breed connemaras and shetland ponies in a small scale. The first connemara bred by me, gelding Niall (sire Kåsta Scaramouche dam Nana), was born in 1989. I bred my first shetland ponies C. Alexandra (sire RP-Chocolate Eyes dam Hagelunds Fanny) and C. Anastasia (sire Rp-Chocolate Eyes dam Rita-Lissu) in 2000.My goal is to breed ponies that are true to type, well put together and have co-operative temperaments. Coneridge connemara breeding is based on irish bred Kate (sire Killyreagh Kim dam Lissoughter Laura). She has a strong pedigree and has produced a string of very typey connemaras that work well under the saddle. I've retained youngest of her daughters, Coneridge Kathleen (by Innellan Kestrel), and I hope she will excel as a brood mare in the future. As far as shetland ponies go, my first mares weren't quite up to the level I'd like to see. As a result I ended up browsing interesting mares and was then able to purchase Electric Honey Honey (sire Vincent v. Rijswijk dam Nette). She is very well put together, moves beautifully and has the pedigree to become a successful brood mare. Her first three foals have already provided the necessary results for obtaining progeny premium AB.
