Photographer Markus Henttonen awarded the secong prize at Photomania 2009

Photographer Markus Henttonen's photography series Night Time Stories was awarded the second
prize at the 4th Biennale of Photo Art - Photomania 2009, in Kalingrad, Russia. Included from the series were seven photographs.
"I hope the photographs from the series stop the viewer and make him or her think about what had happened
before or after the picture was taken. The single photographic image should function as a visual novel in
which the boundaries of reality are blurred."
Night Time Stories will be on view in Finland at the VB Photographic Centre during 16 October - 22 November, 2009.

Arts Council of Finland gave a grant for the exhibition expences of Night Time Stories.
The exhibition will be in Finland for the first time in October in Victor Barsokevich photocentre,
Kuopio during 16 October - 22 November, 2009. More information: www.vb.kuopio.fi

Lahti -a City for all ages Poster campaign is exhibitet in light cabinets during 4 weeks around the centre of
Lahti in 27 different places. I would like to thank every person who was modeling for the pictures.

Lahti nostaa julisteilla kaupunkilaisten itsetuntoa
Lahden kaupunki houkuttelee julistekampanjalla asukkaitaaan tutustumaan kotikaupukinsa tarjontaan. Lahden kaupungin viestintä aloittaa julisteilla “Kaikenikäisten kaupunki” -kampanjan.
Julisteet tulevat nähtäville pidemmäksi aikaa myös kaupungin asiakaspalvelupisteisiin, kuten kirjastoihin, terveysasemille ja kouluihin.
