Carrot and the gang are after a sorcerer who is trying to revive Gamuru, a dragon which would bring disaster to the people. It feeds upon girls who are filled with fear, pain, and hate. Young women are being kidnapped to feed this dragon.
TV 2: "The Life Summoning Red Flower"
The magic flower, Metasenia, has the power to possess the soul of a person and suck the life out of that person. After it has absorbed the person's soul, it produces a being which nourishes on the personality of that soul. It used to be used to produce great soldiers, however, it has been since banned. Now, there is a sorcerer who is using this flower to try to produce the "perfect" man, and it's the Sorcerer Hunters' job to stop her.
TV 3: "Unwritten Laws about Light and Dark"
This time, there is a sorcerer who is trying to make a collection. However, what is this collection of? And who is Big Mama talking to in the past about all this stuff about changing the world? We find out the beginnings of a plan while at the same time, the Sorcerer Hunters go and punish an evil sorcerer.
TV 4: "Fireworks Competition of Love"
Doesn't everyone want to compete in the fireworks competition? Well, Carrot certainly does because Bomber is waiting for him there. She has actually asked him to this fireworks competition and wants him there. However, this doens't make Chocolate and Tira very happy. Find out what they plan to do about it.
TV 5: "A Dreamy Girl at Lakeside"
This is a lovely story about a boy, a girl, a woman, and and old lady. Carrot, like usual, finds himself in trouble with Chocolate and Tira when chasing after some cute girl. However, this time, it appears that the girl is actually grateful of his attention. What's going on here?
TV 6: "Heresy of Love is Crystal"
The Sorcerer Hunters are given the task of stopping whoever is turning the young girls into crystals with Kinju magic. However, there appears to be a twist to this story, as the sorcerer doesn't appear to be a sorcerer at all, but just an overprotective brother. What is this all about?
TV 7: "Love, as it Drifts"
Have you ever heard of the magic river of holy light? There's a legend about this river and the ceremony of Spirit Rock Float. It says that upstream, you set a rock full of spirit adrift. As it flows downward, it gets scraped by the river of holy light and the bottom of the river and changes its shape. If it is shaped like a human being downstream, then it becomes the Messiah and saves the people of the world from poverty and misfortune. Does this all make sense? Well, watch it and find out.
TV 8: "The Forbidden Fire"
What happens when an evil sorcerer starts to do some good for the town? You try to find out what he is up to and that is just what the Sorcerer Hunters are supposed to do this episode. An evil sorcerer in a town is claiming that he is saving the town from the monsters that might attack and hurt their children. But in fact, he is doing something much worse.
TV 9: "Labyrinth Opera House"
In this episode we find out a little about Gato's past. He wasn't always travelling around with the rest of the gang. His partner was Opera. What happened to her and what is Gato going to do about it. This episode, he tries to get some revenge for the past.
TV 10: "To Love a Vagabond"
In this episode, an evil sorcerer has a gambling hall and also seems to be killing some innocent people. So, of course the Sorcerer Hunters are given the task of righting this wrong. However, Carrot seems to have his own adjenda.
TV 11: "Forbidden Fruit"
Two brothers long for their parents who are long-since gone, so they decide to get some replacements. However, their way of getting replacements is rather unconventional. Watch and find out!
TV 12: "The Fossilized Warrior"
There is a dragon which threatens to destroy a town built around this dragon. Big Mama assigns Carrot and gang to put it to sleep for another number of years, but an old man at the town has a different idea. He wants to kill the dragon and end their fear once and for all. But wait! Didn't Big Mama say there was no way to kill it?! What is going on here?
TV 13: "In Between Dreams and Reality"
I'm a Carrot, you're a Carrot, everyone's a Carrot Carrot! Sorry about my singing there, but this episode is weird enough as it is. The Sorcerer Hunters get trapped inside this mystical fairy book and well...anything that can happen apparently does. It will make your dreams come true.
TV 14: "God's a Big Fool"
The Sorcerer Hunters are called upon to defeat a beast threatening a town, but when they get there, they are told to cancel their request by the ones asking for it. What is going on here? And who is this poor women who everyone keeps taking advantage of, tricking, and not even caring about her feelings. Has God forsaken her?
TV 15: "The First Reunion"
Zaha Torte enters the scene in a big way. He is off amassing power in preperation for...well...I can't tell you for what. But Big Mama is out to try to stop him this episode, only someone gets in her way and confuses matters. Find out what Zaha Torte is up to. See how the Sorcerer Hunters fit into this all.
TV 16: "The Great Hospital of Love"
If the last episode is called a plot episode, this episode is called a plot-LESS episode. This episode has no bearing on anything whatsoever. So what is in it? Well, there is a lot of humor and some bouncing here and there.
TV 17: "Big Mama Once Again"
The big fortress has been activated once again and the Sorcerer Hunters have been called upon to try to stop it. However, is it too powerful for them to handle? What happens when Carrot tries to change formes after getting struck by its magic. What does this all have to do with Big Mama?
TV 18: "The Gods Within"
Zaha Torte has made a pact with a Magical Engineer. Zaha breaks the engineer's bonds restraining him from using his magic in exchange for the him killing the Sorcerer Hunters. However, it is at the price of his life... What is Zaha up to? He is looking for something and believes he can find it in one of the Sorcerer Hunters.
TV 19: "Darling is a Love-stricken Ass"
The Sorcerer Hunters happen to come upon a famous painter who can see into people and bring out their best qualities into his paintings. However, an evil sorcerer is trying to take advantage of this and steal his paintings to sell for a high price. They can't just sit around watching this happen, can they?
TV 20: "The Boy Has Seen It"
A little boy's father has been killed before his eyes. He wants revenge on the person who killed him. How is he to do this? Well, Carrot decides to try to help him out, but who is Carrot to help "anyone" out who isn't a female? And why are they all dressed up as
women?!?
TV 21: "A Sleepless Night"
Zaha Torte and the Haz Knights face off with each other. All the while, Carrot, Chocolate, and Tira are all sleeping together and exploring...their feelings together...yeah, that's it! What is wrong with this picure?
TV 22: "Sorcerer Hunter Spirits"
On the way to meet with Big Mama at the Stella Church, Carrot is torn with his feelings as he begins to wonder why he is even hunting sorcerers. Is it because it is benefitting the common folk or is it because Big Mama says so or what? Or is he just making this up so that he can trick the rest of the gang into letting him stay in a town with a lot of beautiful women :) I think you know the right answer... But then again...
TV 23: "The Foible of Kindness"
Carrot and gang have made it back to the Stella church. What does Big Mama have in mind that she needed to see them personally, yet she didn't just transport them there like she usually does. She needed that time to think over her decision...a very hard one at that. What is happening? Zaha saves Carrot's life?!?
TV 24: "Overture of Destruction"
The Sorcerer Hunters know that they have to fight Zaha Torte. They also know they have little or no chance of winning, yet they go to meet him anyways. This is the beginning of their big showdown. Who will triumph?
TV 25: "The Awakening of the Destroyer"
They continue their battle with Zaha. What are the big secrets which are revealed? Why is Zaha coming after Carrot? What is this "Destroyer" everyone is talking about?
TV 26: "A Forgotten Piece from the Future"
I don't want to spoil everything by saying what will happen in this last episode. Let's just say that they have a nearly full-length version of the ending song during the middle of the episode :) If that isn's reason enough to watch it, I don't know what is :)
OVA 1: "A Nighttime Visit, a Nighttime Visit, It Extends Even to the Birds and the Bees" The whole gang has decided to take a break and rest at a nice hot springs. So you know what that means... It is the traditional "hot springs" episode with more fan service than you know what to do with. However, this episode is also extremely funny. Carrot, Potei, and Chocolate are all trying to have a nighttime visit witht he one they love. Chocolate loves Carrot, of course. Carrot loves anyone besides Chocolate and Tira, of course. And Potei...well...he doesn't care. (or does he?) Find out who they end up with and Dota's big secret which shocks Carrot.
OVA 2: "The Legendary Book of Evil and Destruction" Since the last episode was totally silly, I guess they decided to try to make one which was serious this time. But wait, this is Bakuretsu Hunter. You can't make a serious episode! Well, they did. With one exception. Milphey is called upon to help out the Sorcerer Hunters this time because he knows a lot about their target. However, Milphey just can't seem to...well...you'll find out. Anyways, they're target is to save the people of Famil from being enslaved as zombies and used to rule the world.
OVA 3: "Beneath the Memorial
Tree" Once upon a time, there was a really big tree which only blooms once
every ten or so years. It was said that if you confess your love under
it while it is in loom, you will be happily married for the rest of your
life. As you suspected, it is now in bloom and the Sorcerer Hunters, specifically
Carrot, Chocolate, and Tira are here to take advantage of it. However,
Carrot is not planning what Chocolate and Tira are... Or is he?
